Let’s talk about the date change

Yesterday Marvel announced that they would be releasing Avengers: Infinity War a week earlier than expected. Being that the original, FAKE, release date was my birthday, you can only imagine how excited this fanboy was. I mean can you blame me? Anyways, I’m lead to believe that the reasoning is so that it can be premiered around the world at the same time instead of the usual tour of premieres. WHICH MEANS, somebody is going to get the hammer. Or gauntlet, if you will. Why else would they want every single die hard fan to see it at the same time? Someone dies in the most tragic way possible and it’s so god damn huge that they know it would be too big to NOT be spoiled. Let’s say they happen to do a tour like Black Panther and start in S. Korea. You’re telling me we aren’t going to see screen shots of whatever bloodied hero the movie ends on?

Three of Marvels biggest characters are at the end of their contracts post Infinity War; Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans and the godfather of the MCU, Robert Downey Jr. Which of these three will be our first fallen hero? Hemsworth has been vocal about wanting to renew his contract and there are even rumors of a fourth movie with Thor: Ragnarok Director, Taika Waititi. That just leaves the two big names that everyone is assuming it will come down to. Evans or RDJ. Cap or Iron Man.

I strongly believe that Iron Man will be the major death. I’m skeptical to go on the fact that he gets knocked out too easily in the first trailer but all signs point to RDJ. He’s the only one who hasn’t been vocal about whether he is going to stay on or not and it would only make sense that the man who started it all bowed out at the pinnacle point of what this franchise has been trying to work towards for the last decade. My heart wants it to be Captain America but Chris Evans changed his tune from last year and wants to play Cap as long as Marvel will let him. I say Cap because it would be loosely connected to the comics in the sense that Cap falls for the most Cap reason, saving everyone else. And also the MCU has two of his sidekicks who could take the shield and who have in the comic books. What are you thoughts? It there someone you want to see get a cosmic punch from the Mad Titan?
