I love Quentin Tarantino's films. He writes dialogue like no other. Having said that I found The Hateful Eight to be a bit disappointing. It was good but it was wayyyyy too long, like an hour too long.
I have high hopes for this new movie, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. The cast is insanely good and it's been a while since we've see Leo up on the big screen. DiCaprio and Pitt play two stunt doubles who are struggling to find work in Hollywood all while the Manson murders are going on. How those two things connect is not quite clear yet but maybe they are starring in a Roman Polanski movie or something. We'll see!
You definitely should not judge a book by its cover when it comes to this poster. It's pretty terrible. It's just Brad and Leo leaning against nothing. Brad Pitt's face looks like it was photoshopped onto another person's body. Leo looks like he's dressing up as Ray Liotta in that scene in Goodfellas where he beats the neighbors face in with a gun.
All and all I'm still pretty excited. Tarantino rarely, if ever, disappoints.
